The school had a visit from Sinfonia Smith Square – a London-based orchestra. They performed music based around the theme of planets in our galaxy. The orchestra demonstrated the different sounds which could be made with the instruments, and the children joined in with beating in time to the music and singing about zooming around the galaxy. Some children also joined the orchestra for workshops, culminating in a performance, alongside the orchestra, at St. George’s Theatre!
