We had a fabulous time celebrating World Book Day on the 14th March!
The children enjoyed lots of fun activities centred around a love of reading. We had reading across different year groups, making bookmarks, having a special reading visitor from Panda, taking part in a national live lesson, playing Guess the Shelfie, and even listened to Mrs Grimmer reading us a story at the end of the day!
One child from each class across the school was nominated to go to WH Smiths where they collected a special World Book Day book with their book token, and chose some extra copies for the school library.
We have had a huge response to our WILD READING competition with entries across all year groups! 15 children have been specially selected as the winners. We will be going on a trip to Norwich in the summer term! Our winners will be announced in the next few days.
Please enjoy these photos of our celebrations!
