Before Easter, the year 4 children were involved in an Art project called the ‘River of Hope’. Initially, we visited the river as part of our Geography lesson and following that trip, the children worked with a local artist learning fun and exciting techniques to create a design that has since been turned into a sail. In the summer term, our sail, along with those from other schools in Great Yarmouth was installed in the school hall and on Friday 24th May we held an exhibition to display our hard work. Next year, these sails will become part of a much bigger exhibition, during the 2025 Norfolk and Norwich festival.
