Bronze sports star award

The school has achieved a Bronze ‘KS2 Sports Stars 2023-2024 Award’. This was awarded by Norfolk P.E. Support Service in recognition of all of the sporting achievements that have taken place within our school.
Olympians Awards Evening

The school held an Olympians’ Awards evening in May, which celebrated the achievements of our young sports leaders. They were chosen for consistently displaying self-confidence, motivation, respectfulness, optimism, teamwork and natural leadership skills. It was a wonderful evening with many proud family members joining the celebration. Well done Olympians!

Boogie Bounce

Boogie Bounce, a sensational dance-inspired exercise activity using mini-trampolines, was hosted in the school. Bikeability

Children from Years 5 and 6 took part in the Bikeability Level 2 programme which teaches children how to bicycle safely on the roads. It involved starting and stopping; passing stationary vehicles; understanding, negotiating and sharing the road. The children learnt lots of new skills and had a great time. Happy cycling!!!
Fishermans Hospital Visit

Year 5 children made Easter cards for the residents of the Fishermen’s Hospital in Great Yarmouth. Some of the children then visited the Fishermen’s Hospital and gave the cards and an Easter egg to each of the residents.
Norfolk County Music Festival

Year 3 & 4 Football

In March, Year 3 and 4 boys and girls attended an inter-school football tournament, where they played brilliantly as a team with many of the children using the skills that they had learnt in our Key Stage 2 after-school Football Club – well done to everyone who took part!
