Gymnastic Skills

Some of the Year 1 and 2 children had the opportunity to take part in a specialist activity, aimed at extending their gymnastics skills. They used the rings, uneven bars and practised landing safely.
Inter-Schools Competition

Year 5 and 6 children took part in an inter-school competition, which was aimed at encouraging children to enjoy physical activity and participation in competition events. The children had an amazing time and were ranked third overall – well done!

Bowling Competition

For the third year running, The Pod children entered a 10-pin bowling competition, specifically designed for children with special educational needs. The Podsters walked to the local venue and had a great time meeting and competing against children from other local schools … and came second!! A huge well done to all of our Pod-bowlers.

Year 5 Sleepover

Year 5 had a fantastic end-of-year celebration with a giant sleepover. The children had a fabulous time by playing games, eating pizza and watching a film, before snuggling down for a sleep. Thank you to everyone for making it such a lovely evening, especially those who were experiencing their first night away from home!
