Visit from Triple Jump Champion, Laura Samuel

In February 2020, the school hosted a sponsored athletics event which was led by Laura Samuel, the Great British Commonwealth and World Junior Championship athlete.

Laura led fitness circuits for all of the pupils in the school, from Reception through to Year Six, with Reception pupils continuing the challenge into the afternoon by completing hurdles & long jump activities.

The pupils raised a total of £457.00 – which is an amazing achievement! Laura also led a truly inspirational assembly, detailing her journey to success, with a number of pupils asking questions about pursuing sporting activities.
