In March 2023 we were proud to be awarded with the Silver RE Quality Mark award.
What is REQM award?
‘It’s the chance to celebrate great RE. We know that when it is done well, learners engage with the big ideas about being human.
It celebrates the great work you and your students are already doing. It recognises your high quality RE and good practice. The mark provides awards based on the REQM criteria. Schools gather evidence for an assessment, which provides an award certificate and enables subject development.’ Religious Education Council website, 2025
We are proud to be recognised with the achievement of the RE Quality Mark as RE is held with high regard in our school as a subject and as a part of the wider Church School agenda.

We are very proud to hold the silver award for REQM and continuously strive to improve the quality of RE within the school allowing all children to gain access to outstanding teaching and learning of RE. The award has recognised our continued hard-work, commitment and rigour in RE.
