Our school has been working with the IntoUniversity organisation, who support children to aspire to attain their full potential, including going on to further and higher education. Our Year 5 children spent a day with Into University, where they learnt about life at university and the different courses that they could study. On this experience day, the children focused on the discipline of technology and explored the use of forces in structural engineering, as well as robotics . All of the children were highly creative and used what they had learnt during the day to create roller coasters from cardboard, straws and paper – very innovative!
